Proudly Supporting Our Chosen Charity – CLIC Sargent

Cancer is shocking, overwhelming, isolating… and completely unfair. Especially when you’re young. It takes over your life. Treatment is gruelling and your ambitions and dreams – education, relationships, career, travel – suddenly seem very far away.

We get that. That’s why our care teams are on hand to help families with everything from providing grants and getting benefits, providing emotional support to children and young people, and working with their schools to maintain the best standard of education throughout treatment, to treatment closer to home. And, we lobby the government to make sure they get the support they’re entitled to.

CLIC Sargent are the UKs leading children’s cancer charity. We fight tirelessly to stop cancer destroying young lives, and we do that right here in Birmingham, from our bases at Birmingham Children’s Hospital and the Queen Elizabeth hospital, where we currently support 518 children, young people and their families from around the West Midlands.

We’re here to make sure young cancer patients can focus on getting their lives back on track.

“CLIC Sargent have opened so many doors to different opportunities and experiences for me, throughout my diagnosis they’ve helped me not just get through it but develop as an individual, words can’t describe how grateful I am and how amazing the team is.” 19 year old service user, treated in Birmingham.
